Sails have been packed away, boats returned home, and the race village dismantled for another year. And what a spectacular Bay of Islands Sailing Week it was this time around.

Breakfast wasn't the only thing on the minds of the 1,000 or so sailors taking to the water today for the final day of racing in the Bay of Islands Sailing Week regatta. Today was the decider, with everything still to play for in many divisions.

Sunshine and a light but steady breeze greeted around 1,000 sailors competing in the second day's racing of the Bay of Islands Sailing Week regatta today. The conditions only improved throughout the day - the breeze filling to a reasonably consistent 10-12 knot westerly throughout the extensive race area.
