BOISW again supported by NZL Sailing Foundation

We’re once again humbled and grateful to receive funding from the NZL Sailing Foundation for Bay of Islands Sailing Week in 2023.

NZL Sailing Foundation is an independent trust that helps Kiwi sailors to achieve their dreams, supporting amateur sailors to compete on the world stage, as well as local grass roots sailing organisations and events like BOISW.

We’re proud to share the objectives of the NZL Sailing Foundation, and we’re committed to supporting the work they do by creating opportunities for keen young sailors to take part in BOISW, giving them a unique experience of competitive keelboat regatta racing.

For the last few years, our ‘Room For One More’ programme has placed young sailors from local clubs on board boats with room for extra crew members. If you’d like to be part of the programme, we’d love to hear from you, whether you have room on board for the whole regatta or just a day or two.
