As we count down to #BOISW2019, here’s a quick word from one of our core sponsors, NZL Sailing Foundation:
“It is with great pleasure that the NZL Sailing Foundation is once again a sponsor of the Bay of Islands Sailing Week.
This year we have introduced a new initiative with the generous and willing co-operation of the TP52 skippers, to offer six young up and coming sailors the opportunity to join these yachts for what will surely be the most awesome experience of their sailing careers to date.
We cannot underestimate the importance of this Regatta where young sailors who might not have had the opportunity to experience strongly competitive fleet racing, have the chance to sail alongside some of New Zealand’s top keel boat sailors. A wonderful learning experience that will stand them in good stead as they continue on and achieve even greater things in our sport.
