A message from our Chair, Ian Clouston

“At the AGM on Monday 9th June, I will be resigning from all aspects of the Bay of Islands Sailing Week. I have given approximately 15 years to the event, and feel that it is time that I step aside, and let new people take over my roles. The committee is looking for new members to join the event and if you would like too please make it know at the AGM.
I have enjoyed every minute of my time being involved with the event, after starting off as a Race Officer, to becoming Chairperson. When I took on that role I had very hard shoes to fill, but with everyone’s support we got through.
I can’t list all the people who have been at my side during this time, but you know who you are, and thanks for all your support.
I wish the incoming committee all the best going forward, and will still be keeping a watch on the event every year.

Regards
Ian Clouston”
