Rowan Walton 027 256 2174 Hi, I’m just arrived from Sydney. I’ve been race sailing for the past 2 1/2 years and grew up on boats in the Solomon Islands. The main races I’ve done are Isle of Wight Cowes Week UK twice (the 1st year we won every race), Palma Mallorca Superyacht Cup, twilight races Solent in the Hamble and weekend away races, a 48hr night race in Croatia, the World Arc, and Tall Ships (no spinnakers in this race). I start twilight racing in Auckland soon. I will return to Sydney for the 2019 Sydney to Hobart. I’ve crewed on an assortment of boats from Victories to Super Yachts. I’m handy, like to be in the Pit, love the Spinnaker or on Bow mainly I follow orders and or am right beside the person in charge on bow as their spare pair of hands. I weigh 50 kilos, I’m good fun, you won’t regret it. 🙂

Always ready to learn more and gain experience. Have been regular crew on Wednesday night races in Nelson for 3 years, moved up to Auckland and looking for regular berth for race days. Quite used to Farr and Beneteau makes and models. Crew position has normally been in the bow, but have experience doing most jobs and positions.

At ease in and around water. Quick learner who likes to go racing full out but happy to come home to a beer and a chat.

Andrew Rutherdale 022 638 1891 Montego Bay is sailing up from Wellington. However, due to work commitments, not all of our regular team can make the regatta. We therefore require 3-4 people, ideally with some experience but must be keen, eager to learn and confident on the water. We will be up in the BOI from early January, so get in touch if you are keen.
