Show us your #SAFETYSNAPS and be in to WIN!

Show us how you comply with the relevant safety regulations for your division at CRC Bay of Islands Sailing Week, and you’ll go in the draw to WIN an Offshore Medical Course cheers to Dr Dave Austin worth $400, plus heaps of other safety prizes from Burnsco Opua.

All you need to do is…

  1. Familiarise yourself with the relevant safety regulations for your division (hint: find out which rules apply in the NoR, and download the regs booklet from YNZ)
  2. Snap a pic or vid of just ONE of the ways your boat and crew comply – show us your crew in their lifejackets, capture your pre-race rig check or film your fire extinguisher locations – get as creative as you want!
  3. Upload your snap with the #SAFETYSNAPS tag, or send it to us via social media or email, and you’re in the draw.

Safety spot checks at BOISW 2021

Our race officials will be out and about at CRC Bay of Islands Sailing Week performing random safety spot-checks, so make sure you’re up to speed with the safety regs that apply to you. Non-compliance could result in disqualification, and nobody wants that.

The good news is, if you pass a random safety spot check, we’ll give you an entry into the draw automatically. So it pays to make sure you’re on board with the safety regs.

Get safe, get snapping and send us your #SAFETYSNAPS to win!
