SITUATION
High pressure very close by today – just to the north to northwest of the North Island – that generates a rather soft SW-S flow over Northland and again a sea breeze will develop on the east coast by around 11am to midday. That will build low to maybe mid teens from N-NNW and that should persist through to 7pm.
Same deal for tomorrow but probably just a tad less for the max of the N sea breeze.
Friday also with a brief afternoon N-NW east coast sea breeze – not as strong or long lasting as today.
TODAY
Softening offshore early S breeze, then variable mid morning prior to N sea breeze that should build to mid teens in the mid afternoon.
Probably a mix of sun/cloud.
